Welcome, you’ve taken the first step

The hardest part of anything is getting started.

Congratulations, you’ve made the first step towards achieving your fitness and health goals. Here at champion Fridays I believe that everybody can, and should, love to exercise.

It’s just a matter of finding the form of exercise that you love (or hate the least and then grow to love). This way you will see the results, and feel the benefits which in turn will motivate you further.

With 20 years experience in the fitness industry I excel at motivating people and finding their passion for fitness. I work to push you just far enough out of your comfort zone to help you achieve those results you are after.

As a boxer and coach, my approach lends itself to high intensity interval training (HIIT), but I also specialise in:

  • Suspension training
  • Outdoor fitness
  • Pre and post-natal trining
  • Training for weight loss
  • Body building
  • Sheer vanity work

Helping to ensure fitness is something you continue and incorporate in your routine, I am based in central London and work out of various studios, there should be one near you or your work, so no excuses! I am also mobile so could come to you at home or a gym you have access to.

About me

Hi, my name is Dave.

Not only am I passionate about fitness, I’m also passionate about teaching others to love fitness. When I’m not in the gym or park training clients, you can find me in the West End theatres of London… sadly watching, not performing.

I am an actor, however these days I stick to “Theatre in Education”, “Murder Mysteries” and running pub quizzes. I’m a huge musical lover with my all time favourite being Legally Blonde, followed by “Come From Away” and “Book of Mormon”.

I’m a cat dad to a magnificent black long haired Persian called Agamemnon and White Turkish Angora called Augustus, try and see how many sessions you get through without seeing a picture or 20 of them.

Possibly on par (maybe slightly below) my love for musicals and cats is my love for motorbikes. I have 3, and this is the only way I get around.

To keep myself fit I train 5 days a week and rest 2 days. I love running, 10km is my distance, I also love HIIT and heavy leg sessions. To keep myself sharp, I try to box at least once a week and like to jump in the ring for an organised match once or twice a year.

My goal for our sessions is that you will be pushed to the limit you’re comfortable with while having a friendly chat. I’d like to think all clients look forward to our sessions, rather than the familiar “dread” that normally precedes a PT session.

Rest assured though, you will work hard!
